I wrote this little story inspired by this art piece. Enjoy! By Alan Craddock, 1984 “Ughn...” The brunet man grunted in frustration as he pulled his head out from underneath the control panel and got up to his feet. His yellow uniform had burn scars and grease on it. “...how bad is it?” The woman standing nearby asked, wearing a uniform like his own. The man looked at his auburn-haired compatriot. Her gray eyes bore into him, and her arms were crossed. “Well...” He waved his wrench at the control panel. “Engines are shot. Radio is recoverable, but I will need time to repair it.” “So essentially, we're...” “To use an ancient Earth phrase, we are boned.” Charles Terrence announced. “Terrific.” Jennifer Anderson sighed, uncrossing her arms. “How long do you need to fix the radio?” “Could take a couple hours.” Charles said, grabbing a red box by its handle and placing it on the control panel. Jennifer nodded. “Alright, I'll take a look around, see what further damage we

The SuperStarr Chronicles: Chapter 1
Disclaimer: All characters belong to their owners. This is just for fun. Author's Note: Hey there, everyone! L1701E here! I thought it would be fun to do a revamp of one of my favorite older fics: “The Starr Chronicles”. It was one of the longest fics I ever wrote, going over 100 chapters. I looked it over sometime back in a fit of boredom, and I found myself still liking it, but I felt it could still stand some improvement. Hopefully, you'll all enjoy this new version. Continuity Note: This is set a couple of days after the events of the events of the X-Men: Evolution episode “The Cauldron”. Chapter 1: Arrival, Part 1 Out in space Normally, the orbit of Earth was rather peaceful. There was space junk and satellites, but in general, it was peaceful. However, that peace would not last for very much longer. Because a spaceship streaked its way through the solar system. The spaceship's body was in the vein of a long dark blue rectangular box, but with a wedge in the front. The

Ping! Ping! Ping!
Hard rock music blasted from the pinball machine as the smirking young man sent the small silver ball flying into the bumpers. The smell of pizza being made wafted through the air of the pizzeria.
"Yeah! I got the high score, baby! Again!" Ron Ritchie grinned, his sandy blond hair falling over his eyes. He quickly paused to brush his hair out, but continued playing.
"Hey come on, Ritchie!" A young boy whined. "Let us play!"
"Yeah, there's only one pinball machine here, man!" Another boy exclaimed. "Let us have a turn!"
Ritchie continued playin
Meet the Wolf,
Chapter 2: Welcome to Oklahoma City!
The truck drove into the city. Bianca looked around in fascination at the big buildings through the windows of the truck's camper shell. The buildings appeared to be steel melded with trees, making the city look more like a giant forest.
Wow... The Lycan thought as she gazed at the buildings. Not many big buildings like this back home... The truck was slowed up by the traffic, which allowed a lull.
"I can't believe she did that." Alan shook his head in disbelief. "I cannot believe she snuck into our truck like that."
"What amazes me is that neither of us noticed her." Josh pointed out.
Meet The Wolf
Disclaimer: All characters are mine. There's some slight violence and language, but hardly anything horror-level. It's just in case.
Author's Note: After re-reading through this, I felt I could do this better. Much better. As such, I decided to edit it a bit. Hope you like the edits I made.
BLAM! BLAM!
Another zombie's head exploded thanks to some buckshot.
"Blasted zombies..." The shooter muttered. He scowled at a pair of zombies staggering towards him. He calmly pulled a couple of shotgun shells out of a bandolier that crossed his leather jacket-covered chest. He aimed and fired, killing the two undead beings. He looked ar
